McNally Capital, LLC
Ward McNally is a Managing Partner of McNally Capital. Ward founded McNally Capital in 2008 after spending fifteen years working with family offices as a general partner, limited partner and advisor, and observing that families were underserved when it came to their private equity direct investing needs.
Prior to founding McNally Capital, he was a partner at The Edgewater Funds, a Chicago-based private equity firm with over $1 billion under management. Previously, Ward was a principal at Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney and Company, a middle market private equity firm, and prior to that worked at Benedetto Gartland and Company where he focused on private placements for private equity funds. Ward began his career with the Financial Engineering and Risk Management Group at Bank of America and previously was a member of the M&A team at Caremark International’s Physician Resources Division.
Ward holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Ward spends his free time with his two favorite people in the world – his wife Melissa and daughter Blaine. Ward is also an avid hockey fan and plays in an intramural league in Chicago.
